My ten year-old had to have two very stubborn baby molars extracted yesterday.  Before he was to go under anesthesia, he was given various drugs to help relax him and such.  One of which was Lorazepam.  And relax him it did.  His behavior reminded me of my weed-loving friends from high school, minus the munchies. 

C said all sorts of witty things, but my favorite was proclaimed complete with a faraway stare:

"I'm getting a deep level of affection for everybody."

My notebook sidekick was with me, as always.  I am so happy that I could capture that priceless quote on paper. 

I need a serious kickstart to my writing generator.  Give me ideas.  How I long to be lost among the infinite combinations of those simple little 26 letters.

Maybe it's just motivation I lack.
